Chris Eirschele has written a couple of books that have been published in electronic formats. Her first was Garden Truths From Her Family’s Stories and shared family stories of growing up with parents who gardened.

The Kid-Gardener’s Planting Book for Parents: Gardening tips, tricks, and ideas for kids of all ages and abilities was published in ebook through Smashwords and Amazon. Her muse hears that her garden book will be out in print in 2015.
The question asked at the beginning was, “How do kids who do not grow up in a family of gardeners learn the nuances of the garden life? How do adults who know nothing of growing plants help instill that comfort with plants?”
Chris’ editor, Victoria Nicks, shared, “”We thought this was going to be a small project – but as time went on, and Chris had more ideas about what might interest kids, and how to get more kids involved in the outdoors, it grew larger over time.”
Stay gardening is all about the need to keep the gardening life going. That drive can appear in many forms and changes over time; what would you do if a child came into your life and asked you, “Can you help me grow a plant?”
