I confess my main objective was finding a cooler place than where I live to go for a summer vacation. As I live in the low desert of the southwest, the bar is not exactly a high climb.
So I went to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to visit family and see some art and try food at a hotel restaurant in Winslow, Arizona. Both locations are still in the southwestern United States, but are in cooler climates. Lest I appear to deceive, I found flower gardens too. I found landscapes dedicated for the sole purpose of showing off plants, as well as, in places with different objectives.
The following plant and garden photos I share are for pure enjoyment. I hope you were able to enjoy your summer vacation and, meanwhile, find inspiration to stay gardening.
